New Zealand Biosecurity Forum and the 2022 Biosecurity Awards

The biennial Biosecurity Forum is back this year after a four-year break due to Covid-19 and restrictions on gatherings. The New Zealand Biosecurity Forum 2022 will be held in Auckland on Monday 31 October and is an opportunity for everyone interested in, and associated with, our biosecurity system to discuss current issues we face and biosecurity developments currently underway. Through panel discussions, Q&A sessions, speakers and networking opportunities, the event will provide an ideal platform to connect, share ideas and work together to protect what we’ve got.

This year’s forum theme is The future of Aotearoa New Zealand’s biosecurity system. Organised by Biosecurity New Zealand, the Forum will explore key biosecurity and global developments over the past four years, and look to the future, to how biosecurity can continue to protect those things that are precious to all New Zealanders and our future generations. More information about the Forum, including the programme and registration link is here

The 2022 Forum is supported by the Government Industry Agreement for Biosecurity Readiness and Response (GIA), Te Tira Whakamātaki and the Department of Conservation.
